Description

This trail begins next to the horse arena just off the north side of the water line access road. It's a somewhat steep singletrack that has small slickrock-like patches as the trail curves back and forth. The trail follows the north rim of Kwage Mesa up until the end of the ledge.

The views from this point are amazing, with over a hundred miles of the Rio Grande Valley spread out below. On the return, you can either hike back the way you just came, or return to the stables on the Kwage Mesa Trail to the south.
