Description
You start off at a checkpoint, where you'll have access to bathrooms. I rented a motorbike to get to the trailhead, which is probably your best bet - unless you have a car. Make sure to bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and snacks. Check in at the entrance.
The trail is a combination of large, wide swathes cut through the forest and decidedly erosion-prone hills. Do wear good shoes and enjoy the glimpses of the surrounding countryside as you ascend.
Numerous viewpoints and opportunities for wildlife litter the trail, but none compare to the top. A stunning view of the Krabi area hangs below a fear-inducing precipice. Take care!
On your way back, consider giving a donation to the few people that keep up the facilities.
