Description

The Bead Lake Trail is an approximately 6 mile, family-friendly trail. The trail journeys along the east side of Bead Lake and stays just above the shoreline. The scenery is beautiful with lots of views of the lake and has a deep forest feel in many places. There are areas of cedar groves with open sections of forest. It has a really nice mixture of forest elements to offer everyone.

For a hiking trail, the Bead Lake Trail offers a fun and yet challenging hike.
The trail consists of mostly hard packed dirt with sections of loose trail gravel and rock. There are some descents along with some short challenging climbs. It has a handful of wooden bridges to cross as well.

There great options for camping along the way with clean camping sites build up by the community of backpackers.

Be aware that this trail is shared with mountain bikers. Stay alert while on the trail to ensure your safety and the safety of others.

All in all, the Bead Lake Trail is fun little adventure!

Camped at the last dispersed site, about 4 miles along the trail. Plenty of room for 2 tents, fire ring, & next to the creek.
