Description

From the junction with the Baker Pond Trail, the Pisgah Ridge Trail ascends its namesake ridge to gain pleasant views from the summit.

Take caution on the descent on the south side, as the grades can be steep and the tread warrants your attention. On the way down, be sure to stop and enjoy the pleasant forested views of nearby Pisgah Reservoir before reaching the junction with Reservoir Road.

Flora & Fauna

Visit this area in the autumn to see it erupt in fiery fall color.
