Family Friendly A playground in OP Schnabel Park provides a good backup plan in case your kids tire of hiking.

Description

This is a lovely trail that provides access to a multitude of trails in OP Schnabel Park. The area is heavily shaded with trees and vegetation, so it's perfect for hikes during the hot summer. In the creek beds, you'll find snail fossils placed there when Texas was under warm tropical waters. The trails are either paved, dirt, or rocky in this park, so expect to see all manner of trail users enjoying them during your outing.

Flora & Fauna

Expect to see tons of deer while in this area.
