Description

This trail begins as an off-shoot from the Fremont Fuel Break Road. After turning off of the road you'll hike for just 1/10 of a mile before coming across the famous Knapp's Castle. The trail ends as you run into the partially destroyed sandstone structure of the late George Owen Knapp's grand house in the mountains. From Knapp's Castle you'll have great views of the Santa Ynez River, Cachuma Lake, and the coast.
