To access this trail, hike Øvredammen East about three-quarters of the way, then turn east where the two intersect. Next, the trail follows the same route as Lysløypa for a short distance before splitting left into the forest.

Hikers will quickly notice that they are deeper into the wood and trail maintenance is less frequent. This becomes even more evident during the first half of the singletrack which is a moderate climb over lots of roots. The second half of the trail follows a wide section down around the edge of the lake to end at Øvredammen West next to The Dam.

If it has rained recently in the past week or so, expect muddy sections throughout.
