Family Friendly This short route leads to a great viewpoint, making it a satisfying hike for the whole family.

Open mid-May through mid-October. There is an entrance fee: $4 Adults, $2 Kids.

Description

The Rollins Trail, marked with white blazes, begins at the picnic area in Rollins State Park and follows the route of the old carriage road for ½ mile (300 vertical feet) to the summit. The trail is short, but the grade is moderate, and the viewpoint at the end is worth the effort.
