Description

This trail begins on the Creekfield Lake ADA Interpretive Trail near the main observation dock. The trail will head east and cross the Observatory's service road before heading north. It will follow the western edge of Big Creek and the eastern side of the Park Road.

At one third of a mile, the trail crosses over Big Creek on the road's bridge. You'll meet the Hale Lake Loop Connector trail which heads south and the Hale Lake Woodland Trail which heads east, but you should turn north to cross the Park Road.

From this point on, the trail will be a dirt road that follows the eastern side of Big Creek. Eventually, the trail ends at a three-way intersection with Bayou Trail and Bluestem Trail.
