This is a beautiful, wide track that traverses between the peaks surrounding the Kampenwand. Climbers use this path to access a number of exposed crags and folks who take the lift up can take this route to the east over to the base of the Kampewand peak at the Steinlingalm for a warm meal and cold beverage.

The wide, open meadow surrounding the Kampenwand Bergstation is frequently used as a runway for paragliders. Grab a seat at the SonnenAlm and a hefeweizen and watch as folks lift off.
