The blue-blazed Terrace Pond North Trail climbs steeply up to the secluded Terrace Pond to enjoy views of a beautiful glacial lake surrounded by rock outcroppings. From there, the trail continues a few miles over rolling terrain and a series of descents to Warwick Turnpike. It's not uncommon for hikers to simply do an out-and-back to the pond from the parking area off of Clinton Road.

Along with assorted forest environments, hikers may see the state endangered red-shouldered hawk along this trail.
