The Wildlife Loop was built toward the end of 2012 and offers ~4 miles of singletrack trail. This trail was built by cyclists, though foot traffic is more than welcome. Visitors on foot will notice some of the bike-specific features of this route located to the sides of the trail, making for an interesting hike. There are a few rolling features which can be fun even without a bike, and it's easy to see where cyclists practice their feats of daring. Keep an ear out for riders who might be carrying significant speed, though pedestrians have the right of way.

The trail starts off in a sparse pine forest which looks much different than the rest of the park, but then meanders into a deeper woods. The route is shaded and pleasant even in warmer summer months. Hikers will enjoy winding through the woods on this mostly gentle trail.
