Description

The Mckeldin View trail has two sides, the first being an easy, flat path that follows the north branch of the Patapsco. This section has few-to-no obstacles, aside from some muddy stretches from drainage paths. After the trail takes a turn east however, the path quickly changes.

From here, the trail follows a smaller tributary, heading up a steady incline to the south and then turning east. The second half of this trail is more difficult with rougher terrain to go along with the climb. As the trail reaches its highest point, it connects with the Chevrolet Trail, opening up to a grassy field.
