The Capitol State Forest is a multi-use trail network and an ongoing logging area. Expect traffic in both directions. This is a large forest with many trails and roads. Cell service is poor and navigation can be difficult. Make sure your Hiking Project mobile app data is current.

Description

The main access road running east-to-west through the forest. Best accessed off of Sherman Valley Road or Noschka Road on the East. The C-Line Road is a predominantly gravel road with occasional provide reprieves.

It provides access to Road C-7000, for the quickest route to Capitol Peak, and Road C-6000 for access to Little Larch Trail and the Fall Creek Trailhead.

Along its course, the C-Line Road makes intersections with Waddell Basin West, Greenline Trail, Greenline Tie, Crestline Trail, and Porter Trail. While not a very exciting hike end to end, it is a good option to access other trails in the area.
