Pyramid Rock Trail

The starting access point for this trail is located just past the Red Rock State Park, about a 2 minute drive along the road, and near the Outdoor Arena. There is a huge area designated for parking since it is a touristy site to visit.

The trail itself is well marked, and it's difficult to get lost in this terrain. You'll start out on flat trail, but it doesn't take long before the trail gets steep as you gain a ridge. There will be more flat traveling before a final steep ascent leads you out of the canyon that you've been hiking in. One of my good friends proposed to his fiancé on top so that just shows how romantic the possibilities are! While the whole trail provides incredible views, there are especially amazing views of the surrounding area once you reach the top of the peak.

Once you've taken in all the views, simply return the way that you came.

Lots of sagebrush (Natural to the area), lots of sandstone rocks and trees (Juniper and Pine).
