Overview

This fun perimeter hike features varied terrain that is made up of a mix of multiple trails throughout the nature center. There are trails through open fields, wooded areas and across hills with a few sections with stairs. This is a serene hike with wildlife and natural features such as ponds, lakes and streams.

Description

The parking lot is in the center of the ten color coded trails. There are many hiking options at the Cincinnati Nature Center for all ages, but the Perimeter Loop is a long route not suited for casual hikers.

Most of the trail winds through eastern deciduous forest but there are sections in open fields and meadows.
