Description

Hawk Loop is probably the easiest and most well-traveled loop in Lake Norman State Park. Hawk Loop can be used to access both Hicks Creek Loop and Norwood Loop. Trail has a check point sign at 0.5 mile intervals in case there is a need for emergency assistance. There is also a trail at about the halfway point to blaze back to the parking area (power line right of way).
