Overview
A hike to Zabriske Point is one of the highlights of a visit to Death Valley. The short hike out to the overlook is wide and easy, and at the end you are rewarded with an unforgettable view.
Description
This short out-and-back hike to Zabriske Point is a must-do for the stunning views.
The path is wide and paved with very little elevation gain, making it an easy out and back for families or those with limited time or mobility. And the view from the end of the trail is well worth the trip.
The colorful hillsides have been eroded into many fantastic shapes, and the view is particular stunning if you can time your visit to sunrise or sunset.
Hikers looking for a longer outing can head out on the
Golden Canyon Trail which leaves from the same trailhead for a longer excursion into the hills of the Amargosa Range.
