Description

From the eastern side of Forbidden Drive take the dirt path up into the woods. You'll pass by parts of Philadelphia University and cross under the Henry Avenue Bridge.

Even though its in the middle of the city, the path seems pretty rustic and secluded and gives you a pretty nice view of the Wissahickon Creek. When you get to Rittenhouse Street, you'll turn left back to the Historic Rittenhouse Town parking lot.

Add the Lincoln Drive Trail to your loop and get a nice and tough 3mi/5k hike.

Flora & Fauna

Squirrels, birds, deer, and locals. You might encounter some homeless under some of the bridges.
