This trail provides an alternate multi-use descent/ascent to the Grove Trail (pedestrian-only trail). The trail is a great way to connect the Gold Finch #35 trail with the Jim Hall Foothills Learning center, and to the Kestrel Trail #39A.

Differentiating itself from other trails in the area is the abundant avian life that can be seen from this trail. Birders can spot owls roosting in the cliffs during the spring if they are lucky!
