Description

This trail segment is a part of the Cowiche Mountain West Trail at Snow Mountain Ranch. The Cowiche Mountain West Trail starts from the parking lot and proceeds along the Entry Trail, the Meadow Trail, Lower Cowiche Mountain West Trail, and Upper Cowiche Mountain West Trail to the summit. The trail travels through an interesting Shrub-Steppe landscape offering better views of the surrounding valley and Cascade Mountains as the altitude changes.

Flora & Fauna

Elk, deer, coyotes, and butterflies in their remarkable Shrub-Steppe habitat.
