Description

From the trailhead, veer right, sign in at the wilderness boundary, then continue up as long as you please. You'll eventually come to Alpine Lake. At first, the terrain is pretty mild but it pitches steeply upwards to approach the lake.

Lots of wildflowers from May until August.
