Arabia Mountain Nature Center is along this route. You'll get nice views of the Heritage Area and the old barn at Vaughters' Farm. This route also connects to the Arabia Mountain Trail and the Panola Mountain / Alexander Lake Trail, and Rockdale River Trail (if you want to go the distance).

Currently, there is no fee to park at any of the three parking areas along this particular route.

Begin at the parking area on Klondike Rd. and pass through Vaughters Farm with grassy meadows and rolling hills. Head south and wind through the shade of massive pines through the Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area. Continue along Klondike Rd. Catch a glimpse of the lichen, cactus, and wildflowers atop granite outcroppings.

If you are feeling froggy, jump onto the lower trail and head down the connected trails, or go off the paved trail and into the rocky nature area.

Continue down to the south parking lot in the Davidson Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve. There is a restroom here. Turn around and retrace your steps.

Nice views of grassy farm fields, shade from Georgia pines on most of this route.
