A great trail from Simplot lodge to the saddle near the deer point chairlift. The trail also allows access to many of the Bogus trails. The grades are all mellow, there is ample shade and water along the trail so it is a great way to escape the heat in town during the summer.

The trail is well signed and can get dusty towards the end of the season. Once at the top of the Deer Point Trail you can continue on the Elk Meadows trail if you choose.
