This trail is a gradual to moderate climb to the Pinhoti Trail on Dug Gap from England Springs (FS 246). It's good to know this trail in case you need to bail during your Snake hike. You have a very nice downhill to England Springs into Hurricane Valley. From there, you can hike the roads back to the Northwest Georgia Trade and Convention Center. There's still a climb, but it's on pavement versus traversing the rocks.

Directions to Hurricane Trail:
Take exit 333 on I-75, go West 3.1 miles. Turn left on Hurricane Road and proceed 1.4 miles. Turn left on Franklin Hill Road and proceed 0.2 miles. Turn left on dirt Forest Service Road 246 and proceed 0.5 mile to trailhead at end of road (5.2 miles total).
