Due to road washout, access to this trail requires hiking or biking from Madison Falls trailhead including the entire length of Whiskey Bend Road.

River Crossing required to access the trail from Elwha River Trail at Remann's Cabin. This river crossing is difficult at best and impossible to cross during fall, winter, spring, and early summer due to high water.

Description

This primitive trail is not maintained by Olympic National Park. To access it you must ford the Elwah River. This is only feasible at low water levels.

From ONP: This trail is difficult to navigate due to being unmaintained and overgrown, and can have long muddy sections.
